Tianjie Industry carries out safety lecture, all staff build safety defence together

Introduction:June 2025 is the 24th ‘Work Safety Month’ in China, withthe theme of ‘Everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies - find out the hidden safety hazards around you’.

Early in the morning of June 2, Tianjie Industrial organised a unique safety lecture for all the staff, with the theme of ‘Finding the hidden danger of safety, grasping the safety initiative’. Shu Xinbao, a full-time safety and environmental officer of the company, gave the staff a vivid and profound safety lesson through relevant laws and regulations, safety and environmental control concepts, and the current situation of safety and environmental management of the company.

The concept of safety is deeply rooted in people's hearts: the lecture will take ‘life first,safety first’ as the core concept, stressing that safety is the red line and bottom line of enterprise development, and that production safety is not only relatedto personal health and family happiness, but also directly affects the stability of the enterprise and the harmony of the society. Combined with therequirements of ‘double prevention mechanism’ of risk classification and control and hidden trouble investigation and management, he explained in detail the idea of moving the production safety gate forward and focusing on prevention, and called on all staff to grasp the initiative of safety and realise the transition from ‘I want to be safe’ to ‘I want to be safe’. ‘I want to be safe’.

Laws and responsibilities go hand in hand: focusing on laws and regulations such as the Work Safety Law, the Fire Services Law and the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law, ShuXinbao focused on the rights and obligations of employees. For example,employees have the right to refuse unauthorised directions and to take refugein emergencies, but they also have to fulfil their obligations to receivetraining and education, comply with regulations, wear protective equipment and report hidden dangers in a timely manner. He especially stressed that habitual violation of rules is the ‘culprit’ of safety accidents, and the company will fight against it to the end and will not tolerate it.

Case warning, sound the alarm: in the lecture, Shu Xinbao through the ‘Heinrich's law’ and ‘iceberg theory’, vividly and imaginatively reveals the relationship between risk, hidden danger and accident, the risk will inevitably form a hidden danger, hidden danger will ultimately contribute to the accident. He also took some real cases of mechanical injuries that happened in recent years to tell the painful lessons brought by illegal operation. ‘Workplace injuries can be prevented, but violation of rules is the root cause’, which touch edevery employee present deeply.

Examine hidden dangers and prevent them from occurring: In the risk identification session, Shu Xinbao combines the actual situation of the company and combs out a number of categories of hidden safety dangers:

Production safety: special equipment is not standardised, hazardous chemicals storage problems, missing equipment protective cover;

Personal safety: habitual violation of rules, illegal charging of electric vehicles in the plant, noise work without wearing protective gear,etc;

Management loop holes: blocked fire escapes, lack of attention to new employee training, lack of on-site supervision of hazardous operations, etc.

In view of the characteristics of summer production safety, some special preventive and control measures are also proposed, including paying attention to the operating time, checking the aging of electrical wiring,regulating the management of electric vehicle charging, and setting up a ‘three-secondstopping observation point’ at the entrance of the plant, etc., so as to ensure that the summer production safety is free from worry.

Interactive warm, learning to use: the lecture also set up aninteractive link, Shu Xinbao on the production safety knowledge on-site questions, employees enthusiastically answered, the right answer also won the safety theme of small gifts.
