Walking with Love, Growing Together—A Glimpse into the “Warm City of Tianmu · Warm Wings for Migratory Birds” Event

On August 11, the summer social practice event “Warm City of Tianmu · Warm Wings for Migratory Birds,” organized by the Hangzhou Lin'an District Tianmu Warm City Volunteer Service Foundation and hosted by the District Social Work Volunteer Service Federation, was successfully held. As one of the participating organizations, Tianjie Industrial saw over ten children of employees enthusiastically join this summer journey. The children learned through hands-on activities and grew through experiential learning, spending afulfilling and unforgettable time.

The morning session kicked off with “DIY Eco-Rainbow Bottles.” The children unleashed their creativity, transforming discarded materials into vibrant works of art. By crafting these pieces themselves, they not only honed their practical skills but also gained a deeper appreciation for the environmental significance of resource recycling. The seeds of green development were quietly planted in their hearts.

Next,the group visited Moon Bridge Village, where they transformed into young environmental “guardians.” Armed with cleaning tools, they diligently picked up litter along the way. Through concrete actions, the children protected their beautiful homeland while strengthening their environmental awareness and sense of responsibility through labor.

In the afternoon, the children visited the Qingshan Lake Party-Mass Service Center, embarking on a journey of revolutionary history learning. Through engaging activities like identifying historical events by scent and knowledge quizzes, the history of the Party came alive. They also learned about the volunteer service points incentive system, gaining a more intuitive understanding of the public welfare model where “dedication, reward, andgrowth” coexist.

At the final stop, the children visitedthe Lin'an District Senior University to attend a special lecture on the QianFamily Code of Conduct delivered by Professor Zhao Wenzhong. Using warm and vivid language, Professor Zhao elucidated the profound significance of exemplary family traditions, guiding the children to draw wisdom for their growth from traditional culture and cultivate sound values.
