It also announced August's “Master-Apprentice” program participants and graduates, further fostering an organizational culture that values mentorship, collaboration, andmutual growth.

The two agenda items were concise and efficient, swiftly transitioning to the core segment of this conference—a special lecture on stress management. The company specially invited Wang Jianmin, Head of the Psychology Department at Lin'an District Fifth People's Hospital, to deliver the presentation. With over twodecades of experience in psychiatric clinical practice and community prevention, he was honored as the inaugural Outstanding Physician of Hangzhou City and possesses profound expertise in stress and emotional management, sleep disorder counseling, and related fields.

At the outset of the lecture, Dr. Wang cited epidemiological survey data from the Lin'an region to reveal the current state of stress among working populations:Twenty years ago, the prevalence of psychological disorders among individuals aged 40-49 reached 24.3%, with occupational groups such as civil servants experiencing psychological issues at rates exceeding 50%. Notably, women aged31-44 reported particularly high levels of perceived stress. These real-world statistics profoundly underscored for employees the necessity and urgency of scientifically managing stress.

Subsequently,Dr. Wang systematically interpreted stress from a psychological perspective:defining it as “the stress response to stimuli,” analyzing its physiological manifestations such as accelerated heart rate and elevated blood pressure, as well as emotional impacts like irritability and anxiety; He also outlined external stressors like heavy workloads and family relationships, alongside internal psychological factors such as excessive self-expectations,perfectionism, and low self-esteem. Using the “stress-performance curve,” he clarified the mechanism: “Moderate stress enhances performance, while excessivestress harms physical and mental health.”

In the practical methods segment, Dr. Wang not only introduced easily implementable daily stress-relief techniques such as taking short breaks, actively sharing concerns, cultivating hobbies, and engaging in regular exercise, but also provided detailed explanations of professional psychological techniques like mindful breathing (focusing on breath and clearing distractingthoughts) and cognitive ABC therapy (adjusting beliefs to improve emotional outcomes). He further recommended that employees utilize psychological scalesfor self-assessment of stress levels to enable early detection and intervention.
